National Agencies

There are many national agencies in Sierra Leone working across various areas in a regulatory capacity including capacity building, finance, health, education, and sustainable development. National agencies are publicly funded bodies, commissions, state-owned enterprises, or authorities whose establishment is backed by an Act of Parliament. They include amongst other the Sierra Leone Environment Protection Agency, the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency, The Sierra Leone Ports Authority and the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone.
