The constitution provides for freedom of the press in conditions prescribed by the law. The main national newspapers are The New Times and The Rwandan. The media is regulated by the government, although censorship is forbidden. The Rwanda National Information Office, ORINFOR, operates the state-owned broadcaster Radio Rwanda and the main television channel, TV Rwanda. Programming is conducted in English, French and Kinyarwanda. International broadcasters BBC, Deutsche Welle and Voice of America also maintain a strong presence. Private radio stations include Radio Izuba Kibungo, Radio Flash FM, Radio Umwamikaz, Radio Contact FM, Radio Salus Fm, City Radio FM and Radio Sana FM.
