Moshi Rural District
The Moshi Rural district is one of the seven districts of the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. The district is bordered to the north by the Rombo District, to the west by the Hai District, to the east by the Mwanga District and Kenya, and to the south by the Moshi Urban district. The municipality is in the Kilimanjaro Region and is situated on the lower slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro, a dormant volcano that is the highest mountain in Africa. The municipality covers about 59 km2 and is as such the smallest municipality in Tanzania by area.
