Accommodation in Ghana
Ghana has several types of accommodation establishments, ranging from five star hotels to homestays. There are hotels, hostels, park lodges and guest houses throughout the country. Also on offer is basic beach hut accommodation, made from local materials, at popular beach resorts. Camping on the beach in many of the fishing villages is allowed, but permission must first be sought from the local authorities. Visitors must be accompanied by an armed guide in game reserves.
