Chongwe

The Chongwe District is located in the Lusaka Province of Zambia, and the administriative capital is Chongwe. As of 2000, the population of Chongwe district was estimated at about 138,000 people, and one of the highest annual growth rates at 4 per cent. Chongwe is located about 50-60km east of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
