Mbhashe Local Municipality

Mbhashe, named for the river which flows through it, is a predominantly rural local municipality in the Amathole district, Eastern Cape. The main towns are Elliotdale, Willowvale and Dutywa, formerly Idutywa, which is the seat of local government. The main tourist attractions of the area are Mbanyana Falls, Mbhashe Cultural Village and Donald Wood’s Snooker Room
