Tokologo Local Municipality

Tokologo, meaning “freedom” in Setswana, is a local municipality in the Lejweleputswa district, Free State. It is formed of the former Transitional Local Councils of Boshof, Dealesville and Hertzogville, together with a portion of a former Transitional Rural Council. Boshof is the municipal capital. The main industry in Tokologo is agriculture, although there is also a limited business market and some industrial activity in Boshof and Hertzogville. Dealesville concentrates on agriculture but also engages in small-scale salt works.
