Chibombo

The Chibombo District, one of the largest districts, is located in the Central Province of Zambia. As of 2000, the district was estimated to have a large population of nearly 242,000 people. Its administrative headquarters is located at Chibombo, a fairly small town which lies near the Lukanga swamp, and 95 km north of Lusaka. The district includes good commercial farmland north of Lusaka.
