Mpulungu

The Mpulungu district is located in the Northern Province of Zambia and shares boundaries with Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Much of the workforce is employed in agriculture producing mainly maize, cassava and rice. Fishing is another key industry in the district with resources both at Lake Tanganyika and the Lufubu River with approximately 100 fish farmers and 4000 fishermen.
