Gariep Local Municipality
Gariep is a small local municipality in the Joe Gqabi district, Eastern Cape. The main towns are Oviston Nature Reserve, Steynsburg, Venterstad and Burgersdorp, which is the seat of local government. The main economic sectors are tourism, agriculture, agro-processing and services.
