Naledi Local Municipality
Naledi, “a star” in Sesotho, is a local municipality in the Xhariep district, Free State. The main towns are Dewetsdorp, Vanstadensrus and Wepener.
Dewetsdorp, the seat of the local government, is sometimes referred to as the Texas of South Africa due to its focus on agriculture and cattle-breeding in particular.
