Intsika Yethu Local Municipality
Intsika Yethu, “our pillars” in isiXhosa, is a local municipality in the Chris Hani district, Eastern Cape. The main towns are Tsomo and Cofimvaba, which is the seat of local government. The main economic sector is agriculture although tourism also contributes significantly. Tourist attractions include the Lubisi Dam Resort and Conference Centre, local chalets and Amabel’entombi.
