Oyam

Oyam,  in Uganda’s Northern Region is in the Lango sub-region which is made up of the Alebtong, Amolatar, Apac, Dokolom Kole, Lira, Otuke and Oyam districts. The majority of the population is engaged in small-scale agriculture and pastoralism with crops including cotton, bananas, and sweet potatoes among others. Common livestock include poultry, cattle, sheep and rabbits.
