Kou-Kamma Local Municipality

Kou-Kamma is a local municipality in the Cacadu district, Eastern Cape. The main towns are Clarkson, Joubertina, Krakeel River, Louterwater, Misgund, Nompumelelo, Sanddrif, Stormsrivier, Woodlands and Kareedouw, which is the seat of local government. Joubertina, Ravinia and Tweeriviere are seen as the commercial centre of Kou-Kamma. The main economic sectors are tourism and agriculture. The coastal area is a popular holiday destination for tourists, while the indigenous forests and good economic opportunities further help to attract travellers. The Langkloof, by the Tsitsikamma Mountains, is famous for the growing of deciduous fruit.
