Sunday’s River Valley Local Municipality

Sunday’s River Valley, named for the Sunday’s River, is a local municipality in the Cacadu district, Eastern Cape. The main towns are Addo, Paterson and Kirkwood, which is the seat of local government. The main economic sectors are agriculture, community services and trade sector, and the area is recognised as one of the keys regions for citrus and deciduous fruit farming in the country. The municipality encompasses the Addo Elephant National Park as well as other reserves which make Sunday’s River Valley appealing to eco-tourists.
