Nakasongola
Nakasongola District, named for its chief town, is located in the Central Region, at the very heart of Uganda. Prior to 1997 the district was part of Luweero District. The main economic activity in the district is agriculture, with cassava, maize, plantain, bananas and millet produced as food crops and coffee and cotton as cash crops.
