Hoima
Hoima Municipal District is in Western Uganda and has its capital at Hoima. The majority of the population is engaged in agriculture growing a range of fruit and vegetables as well as tea and coffee. The discovery of oil deposits around Lake Albert in the early 2000s means that the oil extraction and refining industry is growing.
