Isingiro
Isingiro District is in Uganda’s Western Region and has its capital at Isingiro. It is part of the Ankole sub-region which is made up of the Isingiro, Buhweju, Bushenyi, Ibanda, Kiruhura, Mitooma, Ntungamo, Rubirizi and Sheema districts. The small-scale agriculture is the backbone of the local economy and farmers commonly grow sweet potatoes, beans, maize and cassava.
