Kiruhura

The Kiruhura is a picturesque district in Uganda’s Western Region. The district boasts the Lake Mburo National Park where wildlife including Impala can be seen. Kiruhura is part of the Ankole sub-region which is made up the Buhweju , Rubiziri, Bushenyi, Ibanda, Isingiro, Mitooma, Ntungamo and Kiruhura districts. Farming is the mainstay of the district’s economy with livestock including Ankole and hybrid cattle as well as African goats forming the base of the livestock kept in the district.
