Mbarara

Mbarara is a district in Uganda’s Western Uganda and has its capital at Mbarara. Agriculture and livestock rearing is the backbone of the district economy and employs the majority of the workforce. Some of the most commonly grown crops include bananas, beans, potatoes, tomatoes and avocadoes. Farmers keep a number of different breeds of cattle as well as poultry, rabbits, pigs, sheep and goats.
