Kiryandongo

Kiryandongo District in Uganda’s Western Region was created in 2010. It is characterised by an undulating landscape giving way to plateau land in the Murchison Falls Conservation Area. Savannah woodland makes up the majority of the district’s vegetation and provides a habitat for a variety of animals and birds. The majority of the workforce is engaged in cattle rearing which are kept for beef and milk and are equivalent to great wealth.
