Kabale

Kabale District is in the Western Region of Uganda bordering Rwanda to the east. While the majority of the population is engaged in small-scale agriculture, the district is also a major centre of tourism. Tourists come to see the mountain gorillas living in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the Mahinga Gorilla National Park. The district also boasts hot springs at Ihimba and Lake Bunyoni which has campsites designed for tourists.
