Sheema
The Sheema District was created in 2010 from the Bushyeni District. The landscape is characterised by plateaus giving way to undulating hills and valleys. Sheema is endowed with many mineral resources including gold, clay, stone and sand. A number of tributary streams and rivers flow into the River Rwizi which are a valuable water source for farmers in the area.
