Migori County

Migori County is located in South Western Kenya, with Migori Town as the administrative capital. The county has a population of over 900,000 people, and the main economic activities include agriculture, fishing, manufacturing and mining. Fishing is particularly key due to the presence of Lake Victoria, while the Migori and Kuja rivers, as well as a steady climate afford good agricultural conditions. Agricultural produce include tobacco, sugarcane, maize, beans, coffee, groundnuts and vegetables.
