Nyeri County

Nyeri County is located in Central Kenya, and shares borders with Laikipia to the Norht, Meru to the North East, Kirinyaga to the East, Muranga to the South, and Nyandarua to the West. The counties location in the fertile central highlands means that the county is very agriculturally productive with high annual rainfall and temperatures that remain between 12 and 27 degrees Celsius. The county is also home to Mount Kenya and Aberdare National Park which are key tourist attractions. Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Africa, and the second highest in Africa. The administrative centre of the county is Nyeri Town, the largest town in the county.
