Narok County

Narok County is located in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya, sharing a border with Northern Tanzania. Narok County is large, covering about 18,000km2, with temperatures ranging between 12 to 28 degrees Celsius. Tourism is by far the largest contributor to the counties economy as it is home to a portion of the Maasai Mara National Reserve which is famous for the annual wildebeest, Zebra and Thomson Gazelle migration. Agriculture is also an important economic activity in the county, with some of the best Wheat and Barley being grown.
